Major Winter Service PA474  

I am currently working on a project producing artwork of PA474 at various stages of a major winter service between October 2006 and April 2007. The Lancaster arrived as Mickey the Moocher ‘QR-M’ and re-emerged as the Phantom of the Ruhr with the codes ‘HW-R’ and ‘BQ-B’.

So far I have created master drawings which are the same images as the profiles but with the layers turned off. Not sure how many stages I will end up producing but my objective is to reach the most comprehensive set of drawings possible.

The section with the most detail is the construction of the two Merlin engines here shown rotated to reflect the Lancaster is on the ground and sitting at 7.4 degrees.

Artwork is printed on A3 sized 297mm x 420mm fine art 300 gsm natural white paper and each one digitally numbered & signed by the artist.

Apart from physical printed images I am also able to produce high resolution PDF files which can be used for publishing / event media. This artwork will be saved on my dropbox for instant download. Please contact me for further details.
