Your Artwork
Your artwork commission is created from hundreds of construction drawings which in total amount to several gigabytes of data over eight months of meticulous research into the airframe. The result is effectively a highly detailed technical illustration of the Avro Lancaster.
To create your commission artwork, I prefer to work from a photograph of the actual airframe, this will enable me to produce the most accurate profile of the aircraft.
If there are no photographs available, I have a wide selection of books I can use as a reference.

I will discuss with you all available options and layout before commencing the artwork profile, please note that any information which is supplied either in photograph or as text in the form of aircrew names is treated with the utmost care and respect.
All artwork is stored so additional prints can be ordered. Note these will be individually numbered. Apart from physical printed images I am also able to produce high resolution PDF files which can be used for publishing / event media.
Pricing will vary as with each commission this is created to your specific individual requirements. Here working from an actual / original photograph of the aircraft is preferred to obtain the most accurate profile. Artwork is printed on A3 sized 297mm x 420mm fine art 300 gsm natural white paper and each one digitally numbered & signed by the artist. The delivery note paperwork will include an Artwork Certificate of Authenticity.
